Thomas The Train Comes to DC

On January 23rd we headed up to Dulles with our dear friends the Toolans to the Train Expo. It was a PACKED place, but David and Shane had a blast. We got to see the largest model train display ever with all kinds of really cool accessories and scenes. We saw all kinds of Thomas the Tank Engine supplies, and waited in line for a turn to ride in Annie & Clarabelle while Thomas himself pulled the kids around in a circle. David also played in the giant track "pit" where he tried to put as many cars as possible behind one engine to go around his tiny track circle. We had lots of fun with our friends!

One of many amazing displays

David couldn't even take the time to look at the camera he was so involved in watching the train displays

We even saw a Norfolk Southern engine. (David's Uncle David works for that company in Illinois)

We had to take a picture of the Harley guy, David's Papa Kino has a Harley that David likes to sit on and pretend to drive.

Ta Da! Train masterpiece
